Virginia Slims
Virginia Slims cigarette brand was instituted in 1968 by Philip Morris. Smoking was considered to be a masculine habit historically. In XX-th century a women's smoking began to symbolize emancipation and feminism. Fashion brands or premium brands of cigarettes specifically were sold for those who see the use of these brands as a method to grow their private appeal. Virginia Slims belongs to decorative brands, focused strictly on young professional women. Virginia Slims cigarettes were promoted under the slogan "You've come a long way, baby" for a long period.
